The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) has launched a new EU reference framework for lifelong guidance to help people navigate education, training and career transitions throughout their lives. Presented during a policy forum in Thessaloniki, the framework includes 18 guidelines covering areas such as career management skills, social inclusion, digitalisation and quality assurance. It aims to support EU countries in building more coordinated, accessible and effective guidance systems in response to changing labour markets, digital transformation and demographic challenges.
